Maya Supports BSP PalengQR Initiative in Batanes

Maya, an early adopter of QR Ph, proudly supports the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) PalengQR initiative, recently launched in Batanes.

In collaboration with the Batanes Provincial Government, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), this innovative “digi-palengke” program aims to modernize financial transactions in public markets and local transportation. Through the standardized QR Ph system, vendors can seamlessly accept digital payments from any e-wallet provider or bank.

The event also featured the debut of the Free Public Wi-Fi Park and other initiatives designed to empower businesses and consumers with secure, efficient cashless transactions.
